VIEW FROM THE PORCH

Light greys and blues periodically peak thru
bright white to dark grey clouds that rush on their way to somewhere else.

Red strawberries- only 3,  cling defiantly from their
yellow green leaves.

Dark grey green stalks are tipped with
lavender blooms.

This morning from our porch.

Background accompaniment is the ever present drone of the freeway
More to-ing and fro-ing.  It's constant.

Wonder  if they all notice.
