Very important words that have been largely forgotten in our society:  PLEASE & THANK YOU.

Your Queen has noticed how frequently these little words would just make everything so much more......kind.  Little changes with a huge impact.  Try it.  Let it become a habit.  It'll even make you feel better.  Especially, especially important to those around us everyday, for just little things.  Example:  "Please pass the salt."  "Thank You".

Way, way overused.  "Like"  This is so pervasive that people who do it don't even realize it anymore!  Eeeeeeeeeekkkk!

Overused that often doesn't make sense:  "Basically"  usually doesn't turn out to be basic at all.  Very pervasive in the media.  Officially:  In the most essential respects; fundamentally.

Queen's Pet Peeves:

Anyways:  Didn't used to be accepted as correct speech.  (Still not preferred)  It has grown in usage and, according to the dictionary, is an informal or dialect form of anyway.

These ones.  HELP.  We think if we hear this one more time........!  There are 'these' (plural, more than one) and 'this one' (self-explanatory)  There are not THESE ONES, actually there are rarely ONES, except in the case of and twos and threes, etc.  Pleasepleaseplease make this go away.
